What I read this summer-2014
Dorothy Must Die-The "dark-side" of Oz. Dorothy has returned to Oz and has become its ruler. Unfortunately she has become power hungry and Oz is not what it used to be. The Scarecrow now performs terrible medical experiments on the winged monkeys and the inhabitants of Oz. The Tin Man is Dorothy's killer and the Lion is thirsty for blood. Amy, from Kansas of course, is brought to Oz (by a tornado of course) and must take down Dorothy. Follow Amy on her path as she attempts to kill Dorothy and return Oz to how it once was. This is the second book in a series...PS-you will never look at The Wizard of Oz in the same way.
No Place Like Oz-The prequel to Dorothy Must Die-available in e-book only. This backs up and tells how Dorothy returned to Oz and gained power.
Divergent-Insurgent-and Allegiant-This is a 3 part series that tells the story of Four and Beatrice "Tris". Great books told from Tris's point of view. The final book bounces back and forth from Tris's point of view and Four's. Divergent has recently been released as a movie. These books follow Tris and her decision to move away from her family and join the Dauntless faction. Find out what happens to Tris and the secrets that have been kept from her and her entire civilization.
